         Carrot Cake (Cocktail Drink)

               




Ingredients needed;



1.  1,1/4 oz . Spiced rum,




2. 0.5 oz Irish Cream, (or 1oz.2% milk or 1oz. Condensed milk),




3.  1/2 oz. French hazelnut syrup,



4. 1/2 oz. Gingerbread syrup,




5. 4 oz. Carrot juice,


6. Ice.


Garnish ingredients:

Carrot, Nutmeg, whipped cream.


Instruction:



1. Fill serving glass full of ice.




2. Pour ingredients into mixing tin in order listed.



3. Add ice from serving glass.



4. Cap, shake and pour back into serving glass.


5. Add garnish, straw, and serve.



6. Serve in a Shot Glass.
Enjoy your Refreshing Carrot Cake Cocktail drink.

Vegetable Garden Stew (Vegetarian stew)

Vegetable Garden Stew (Vegetarian stew)
               
   
Made with vegetables from your garden or green grocery, this colorful stew is served over healthful millet.



Ingredients:


1.   2 cups of vegetable broth,





2.  8 ounces each; sliced mushrooms, cauliflower florets, cubed potatoes,





3. 2 each ; medium onions and tomatoes, cut into wedges,





4.   2 cloves garlic, minced,





5.  1 teaspoon dried savory leaves,






6.  1 bay leaf,




7.   2 small Zucchini, sliced,




8.  Salt and pepper to taste,





9.  3 cups of cooked millet or couscous, warm.





Directions;






1.  Combine all ingredients except Zucchini, salt, pepper and millet in slow cooker, cover and cook on low heat for 6 to 8 hours, adding Zucchini during last 30 minutes.




2. Discard bay leaf and serve over millet in shallow bowls.






3. Enjoy your Delicious Vegetable Garden Stew.

Hello viewers, How are you all doing?
Have been so stress out lately, because I'm busy making preparation for my birthday, which is today, I'm so happy, cos I added another year today, and am grateful to God for keeping me alive.
I decided to share some of my birthday food recipe with my viewers.
So let start with Yummy Raspberry Pink Velvet Cake which I have already bake for my birthday which is today.
So let start with the procedure.
   



  Ingredients needed;




1.   3 cups cake flour, spooned and leveled, plus more for pans spraying,





2.   1  tablespoon of baking powder,





3.    1/2 teaspoon of kosher salt,





4.   1 cup (2 stucks) unsalted butter, at room temperature,






5.    2 cups of granulated sugar,






6.  4 cups of fresh raspberries, divided, plus more for decorating,





7.   4 large eggs,





8.  2 tsp pure vanilla extract,






9.   3/4 cup if buttermilk,





10.   3 drops of pink food coloring, (optional),




11.   3 tablespoons of seedless raspberry preserves,
Raspberry cream cheese frosting meringue kisses and edible flowers, for decorating,





Raspberry cream cheese  frosting ingredients;









1.   1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, at room temperature,




2.  4 oz cream cheese, at room temperature,





3.   1/4 cup of fresh raspberries,





4.   1 tsp of pure vanilla extract,





5.   1/2 kosher salt,




6.   3 cups of confectioner's sugar.






Directions:





1.  Preheat your oven to 350°F. Greese and flour 3(8_inch) cake pans, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt in a clean bowl.





2.  Beat butter and sugar on medium speed with an electric mixer until light and creamy for 1 to 2 minutes, Add 1 cup of raspberries, and beat until smooth doing that for abt 15 to 20 seconds, add eggs, one at a time, beating until blended after each addition. (Mixture will look curdled).
Beat  in vanilla extract, reduce mixer speed to low and beat in flour mixture, and buttermilk alternately, beginning and ending the process with flour mixture, just until flour is incorporated, Mix in food coloring if you like, Divide batter among prepared pans.





3.   Bake cake until a wooden pick inserted in centre comes out clean, for the next 23 to 25 minutes, cool in pans or wire racks for 10 minutes, then invert onto wire racks to cool completely.






4.   Toss together preserves and remaining 3 cups raspberries in a bowl, place one layer on a cake plate and top with 1/2 of the preserve mixture; repeat one more time, top with remaining cake layer. Frost top and sides of cake with frosting, Decorate with meringue kisses, edible flowers and raspberries.






5.  To make the frosting, beat butter and cream cheese on medium speed with an electric mixer until creamy, 1 to 2 minutes beat in raspberries, vanilla, salt, until raspberries are broken down, 15 to 20 seconds .
Reduce mixer speed to low and gradually add confectioners sugar until blended and smooth after each addition; after leaving for 45 seconds to 1 minute.
Your Yummy Raspberry Pink Velvet Cake is ready.

Fried Banana

Ingredients needed:



1. 1 banana quartered, (or more depending the quantity you are making),




2.  1/2 cup of flour,




3.  2 tablespoons of baking powder,





4.  6 tablespoons of water,




5.  4 cup of cooking oil,





6. 4 tablespoons of Honey.






Directions;




 Light, Sweet  dessert _ a perfect ending to the diner.


1.  Roll the banana pieces in flour, mix the baking powder with water to make a paste and roll the banana pieces in it.





2.   Heat the oil until it is hot, deep fry banana for 4 minutes or until they are golden brown, pour 1 tablespoon of honey on each banana pieces and serve.


Enjoy your delicious Fried Banana.
Good for relaxation.







Barbecue Turkey Burgers

Ingredients:




1.  1 pound ground dark_meat Turkey,




2. 1 garlic clove, minced,





3.  1/2 teaspoon of paprika,





4.   1/4 teaspoon of ground cumin,






5.  Kosher salt,





6.  1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper,





7.  4 slices sweet onion grilled,





8.  1/4 cup barbecue sauce,







9.   4 (1.6 _ounce)  sesame seed buns, toasted.







Instructions:





1. In a medium bowl, mix together turkey, garlic, paprika, and cumin form into 4(4_inch) parties; season with salt and pepper.






2.  Heat grill to medium high heat: cook turning once, until burgers are just cooked through, about 7 minutes on each side.





3. Serve with onions and sauce on top of buns.

Beet Salad

Hello viewers, How are you all doing?
Today will be learning how to prepare Salad.
Enough of soups, stews, let also try out Beet Salad.
I have tried it out, is delicious, and easy to cook.
Let get started.




Ingredients needed:




1.  One 16_ ounce or 454_gm can diced beets, drained,



2. 1/3 cup of apple_cider vinegar (78ml),





3.  1 teaspoon of fresh chives (5ml),







4.  1/2 cup of strained yogurt (118ml),






5.   1 teaspoon of fresh chopped parsley (15ml).








Instructions:



1.  In a large bowl mix the beets, vinegar, and chives and marinate for 30 minutes.





2.  Strain, discarding the marinade.





3.  Place the beets back into the bowl and stir in the yogurt and parsley.






4.  After you are done with all the process, then your delicious Beet Salad is read to be served.
Can be consumed alone.

Ginger Lemonade

Ingredients;




1.  Fresh ginger,



2.  Juice of 3 lemon,



3.  1/2 cup of maple syrup ( or sweetener of your choice),




4. 2 quarts water.








Instructions;



1. Place water on the stove to boil, peel a good 2_ 3 inch of ginger (depending on how you like ginger).



2. Grate the ginger over fine mesh grater, squeeze the freshly grated pulp to remove the juice.




3.  Discard dry pulp when water boils, add the lemon and ginger juice.




4. Let sleep for 20 minutes, then add the syrup.

This is very refreshing.

Orange Butternut Sauce

           Orange Butternut Sauce
                 

 



Ingredients:


1. 1/4 teaspoon of light oil (1.25 ml) with a dash of toasted sesame oil,



2.   2 garlic cloves, bashed, peeled and chopped,




3.  3 cups of chicken stock (708ml); use a vegetable stock if you prefer to make a dish completely vegetarian,



4.  One 2 _pound or 900 gm butternut squash, baked for 50 minutes at 360°F (180°C) to yield 3 cups of pulp (708 ml),





5.  1 (6_ inch or 15 cm) piece rosemary,




6.  1 cup of frozen corn (236 ml),





7. 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper (1.25 ml),





8. 1/8 teaspoon of salt ( 6 ml),




9. 1/4 teaspoon of cumin (1.25 ml),





10. 2 tablespoons of cornstarch (30 ml) mixed with 1/4 cup of unsweetened orange juice (59 ml) (slurry),



11. 1/4 cup of strained yogurt (59 ml).






Directions ;



1. Heat the oil in a large saucepan over medium heat and fry the garlic for 3 minutes.





2. Stir in the stock, cooked butternut squash, and rosemary and simmer for 15 minutes.





3. Remove the rosemary and discard.





4.  Stir in the corn, pepper, salt, cumin, and cornstarch slurry and cook for 3 minutes, after cooking for 3 minutes,  pour into a blender and puree until very smooth about 5 minutes.






5. To serve: just before serving, whisk in the yogurt for a sense of added richness, present immediately, rossed with your favorite pasta, or refrigerate before adding the yogurt and reheat later.

Let make Delicious Baked Chicken Salad today, is yammy, you can eat it either for breakfast, lunch or supper, as you like.
You can take along with any drink of your choice like: Best ever lemonade, Ginger lemonade, Black Cherry cocktail drink and so on, the recipes for those drinks are in this site.
So let get started.




Ingredients:



1. 2 cup of cubed chicken,



2. 2 cup of celery, sliced,




3.  1(10oz) pkg, frozen green peas,



4.  1/2 cup slivered almonds,




5.  2 tablespoons of green pepper,




6. 1 tablespoon of grated onion,




7. 2 tablespoons of diced pimento,




8. 2 tablespoons of lemon juice,



9. 1/2 tablespoon of salt,




10. 3/4 cup of mayonnaise, 



 11. 1c grated American cheese.




Instructions:


1. Combine all ingredients thoroughly turn into buttered 2 quart casserole.



2. Sprinkle with cheese and bake at 350 degree for 25 minutes or until cheese is melted.




3. Make 10 servings and thus can be frozen.

So let begin.



Ingredients:


1. 2 cups of vanilla fat free yogurt,


2. 2 medium banana cut into chunks,



3. 1 cup of frozen strawberries,


4. 1 cup of orange juice.



Instructions:


1. Place bananas chunks and strawberries in blender.



2. Blend on low until broken up.



3. Add yogurt and orange juice.



4. Continue blending on high until mixture is smooth.



5. Serve immediately.


6. You can take it along with snacks like; Banana bread, doughnut, mini sausage roll,  Also check the recipes on how to make them on  this blog too.

Zesty Black Bean And Rice Burgers

   Zesty Black Bean And Rice Burgers
           
                 
Give these meatless burgers a try, they have tons of fiber, are low in fat and an ice change from ground beef or turkey burgers.
You will be surprised at the great flavour.


Let begin.


Ingredients:


1. 1 cup of cooked instant rice,


2. 1/4 cup of chopped onions,


3. 2 tablespoons salsa,


4. 1_15 ounce can black beans, drained and rinsed,



5. 1 tablespoon of chopped cilantro,



6. 4 whole wheat hamburger buns.



Directions:


1. Mash beans with food processor or fork or potato masher, mix in rice, onion, cilantro and salsa.




2. Spray large non_stick skillet with cooking spray, heat to medium _high heat.



3. Use 1/2 cup mixture for each patty, flatten onto skillet, cook 4_5 minutes on each side, or until lightly browned.



4. Serve with salsa, sour cream, lettuce, slice avocado, suggested side dishes: tossed salsa with your favorite veggies and low fat  south western ranch dressing.

Fluffy American Pancake

Hope you are all doing fine?


I will be teaching you guys how to prepare Yammy Fluffy American pancake.
So let get started.

These pancakes are light and fluffy and great for a weekend brunch.
Try adding a large handful of fresh blue berries to the batter before cooking.




Ingredients:


1. 135g, 4/3 oz plan flour,


2. 1 tablespoon of baking powder,


3.  1/2 tablespoon of salt,



4.  2 tablespoon of caster sugar,


5. 130 ml/ 4 _ 1/2 fl oz milk,



6. 1 large egg, lightly beaten,



7. 2 tablespoons of melted butter (allowed to cool slightly),
 Or olive oil, plus extra for cooking,



Serving:
Add maple syrup, butter.


To to make it:



1.  Sift the flour, baking powder, salt and caster sugar in a large bowl, ln a separate bowl or jug, lightly whisk together the milk and egg, then whisk in the melted butter.


2. Pour the milk mixture into the flour mixture using fork, beat until it  turn smooth batter, any lumps will soon disappear with a little  mixing, let the batter stand for a few minutes.




3. Heat a non_stick frying pan over a medium heat and add a knob of butter, when it melted, add a ladle of butter (or two if you your frying pan is big enough to cook two pancakes at the same time), it will seem very thick but this is how it must be, wait until the top of the pancake begins to bubble, then turn it over and Cook until both sides  turns golden brown and the pancakes has risen to about 1 cm (1/2 inch) thick.





4. Repeat until the butter is used up, you can keep the pancakes warm in a low oven, but they taste best fresh  when you take them off the pan.


5. Serve with lashings of real maple syrup and extra butter if you so desire.

Tips:

Serve the pancakes with fresh,
You can garnish with strawberries and good vanilla ice cream, serve with maple syrup and bacon.
You can also add one teaspoon of ground cinnamon to the buckwheat butter and serve with caramelised apple slices thick double cream.

Creamy Banana Ice Cream

               Creamy Banana Ice Cream
               

Creamy banana ice cream is yammy  and very easy to prepare , no needs of ice cream machine to make it.
All is needed is a blender and a working freezer.
So let get started.




Ingredients;


1.  1 Tin of milk,


2. 2 ripe bananas,


3. 1/2 small party cup of whole milk (powdered one),



4. 3 drops of vanilla extract,


5. Slice of bananas for garnishing (optional),


6. Cookies for garnishing (optional).





Notes about the ingredients;


1. Milk is what makes the ice cream creamy, it also add to its unique flavor.


2.  For the best result, the bananas must be very ripe and firm.



3. Using a small party cup, the ones used for drinks in party (optional).


4. Whole milk is 100 percent full fat milk; you can make use of soya milk also, the extract quantity of whole milk you need depends on the size of your bananas.


5. You can get vanilla extract in shops that sells bakering ingredients.



Directions:


1. Peel, cut up the bananas and put in  blender.



2. Add the tin milk.



3. Add the vanilla extract.



4. Add the whole milk (powdered milk).


5. Start your blender.



6. When the mixture is we blend, continue to run the blender for 2 minutes more, to ensure that everything is well churned and creamy.




7. Pour the mixture into a propscile molds, if you do not have propscileold, pour in a bowl.



8. Place the propscile molds or bowl in the freezer over night.




9. Next day, remove the ice cream from the molds and enjoy, if you used a bowl, bring it out from the freezer and leaves the bowl on the table for 5 minutes, then scoop the ice cream into cups and enjoy.
